The Human League held it’s “NHL Legends of the Game Annual Golf Classic” Tournament, held at the Idylwylde Golf and Country Club. 

In past tournaments:
First-place team was MCTV, with golfers Scott Lund, John Roberts, Jamie Colvin and Dave Morris.  Each team player received a KEURIG Premium Coffee System and coffee donated by Alliance Coffee and Water. 

Second-place team was Labatt’s, with golfers Tark Bertrand, Mark Toppazzini, Leno Toppazzini and Rob Zanatta. Each team player received a wine opener donated by Kitchen Bits and Y.U.M. Culinary Academy. 

Third-place team was L.S. Bock Development Inc., with golfers Luc Bock, Todd Payzant, Rod Lapointe and Ron Perreault. Each team player received a loaded CIBC backpack donated by CIBC. 

The winner of the business card draw was Earl Amero, of the Shaughnessy St. Holdings golf team, who received a golf bag loaded with golfing accessories and supplies.  

The winner of the Early Bird Clarion Golf Package was Mike Grace of the Mike Grace Consulting golf team. He won a golf weekend for two at the prestigious Clarion Resort in North Bay. 

The Human League’s PLAY Program became a local chapter of KidSport Ontario, with Lyle Abbott, executive director of KidSport Ontario, on hand to present a cheque for the PLAY Program. 

Harry Bell, the Ontario manager of JumpStart, funded by the Canadian Tire Foundation for Families, presented a cheque of $12,323 to the PLAY Program, which processes applications to the Greater Sudbury JumpStart Chapter.
